Prosjektbeskrivelse

Schage Eiendom had high ambitions for the design and execution of their new premises at Nedre Slottsgate 8, and they have achieved their goal with a gem of an office in a new building atop the department store Steen & Strøm in Oslo. Solid timber floors, panelling and slatted ceiling, all from Dinesen give the impression of entering a beautiful wooden chest. It was an interesting and enjoyable job for IARK to work with materials and detailing of the 800m2 office and its 15 workplaces. As Schage Eiendom was the client, it was a natural choice to use motives from the mountain peak Store Skagastølstind in the silk-screen treatment of walls and glass in the meeting rooms. The colour and material palette otherwise, is inspired by Norwegian nature, mountain landscape and cold, clean air. The project, amid Oslo’s rooftops, was completed in 2015.
