Following the merger between ErgoGroup AS and AS EDB in the spring of 2010, LENTS' Preben Sander and Elisabeth Paus were commissioned the programming for a new headquarter for the merged company. Approximately 2,200 employees. A reference group was established consisting of management and union representatives. The group's mandate was to define the future workplace for EVRY.
The concept was clean desk, free seating, relocating 2-3 companies with high technology focus. Program and concept was adopted by the Board and corporate Management. The programming document was then used as the specification in the search for new HQ premises.
Summer 2011 the company decided to enter into a contract with Telenor Property on premises in Snarøyveien 30.
The programming document was the basis for the start of the next phase with user groups, reference groups and steering committee. In the detailing phase, the concept has been further developed in line with the development of the organization. What needs does the merged organization have in its new headquarters? The work dealt with the physical solutions in relation to the new organization, new technology and the desire for a strong and unifying brand. An interesting feature is the shift towards more project related solutions.
A significant success factor, as for the other projects, is anchoring the decisions in top management.
IARK was engaged as interior designers for the project. LENT was engaged to facilitate user process and change management. Based on EVRY’s Brand Guidelines, IARK developed the identity of the interiors in collaboration with Expology, who also developed and delivered technological solutions.
