Prosjektbeskrivelse

DNB is committed to becoming one of the most visionary corporations in Europe.

With such high ambition and expectation, a complete transformation within the organization was inevitable for the largest bank in Norway; therefore the management chose to house it’s main office functions under one roof in Bjørvika, Oslo. The objective was to create the most attractive financial institution in Scandinavia for both customers and staff, whilst at the same time initiating an improved, common culture inside the organisation itself.

This involved creating a welcoming work environment that encouraged innovation, flexibility and simplicity, as well as facilitating a dynamic and collaborative attitude throughout the organization; including efficient work processes and optimum utilization of the entire building, once the final stage of construction is complete.

With 85,000m2 of open office space and over 4000 employees in three adjacent buildings, DNB has chosen to apply free seating and clean desk, giving employees more freedom to plan and execute their various tasks.

Zinc AS has been the contracting party regarding the interior design in this project, and Heidi Tolo has been project manager from 2007 - 2013, from 2011 by arrangement with IARK.

The result is a financial advisory headquarters attracting attention throughout the entire banking community, not just in Norway, but also in other countries throughout Europe.
