Prosjektbeskrivelse

NRK echoes the people of Norway through content and entertainment and contributes to a more diverse and informed nation. The District Offices tie Norway together and make sure the whole country is represented. Every day, all year round, the employees travel across Norway to keep us informed and connected.

Needs and dreams:
Respect and affection for the local community is how NRK District builds its culture. This culture generates pride and safety, and the employees need a workplace that both strengthens and communicates this culture. NRK's core value is transparency, and it's also an important part of the in-house culture. They need a place that encourages conversation and dialogue between the employees.

A media agency has a lot of visitors and contributors to the offices every week, and it's essential that they feel welcomed and supported. NRK wants a home that brings a sense of pride and never lets the employees forget their purpose as journalists.

Insight and solution:
A flexible and friendly workplace with diverse work zones creates a trustworthy and open atmosphere. We wanted to understand NRK's unique culture and asked, therefore, all the employees about their knowledge, wishes and dreams. This insight is reflected in the interior, so both the employees and visitors can feel a sense of pride and belongingness. The precise reference to local culture and history prove why local broadcasting is so important for a nation like Norway.

Summarized: Make room for culture
