Prosjektbeskrivelse

When NPRO moved headquarters to the former shipbuilding wharf at Aker brygge, IArk was engaged to optimise the new premises. A planning solution was required that would accommodate the company’s various working methods, include facilities for frequent meetings and, of course, highlight the building’s distinctive character. Double height rooms and atria that allow deep penetration of daylight were among the qualities we were able to make good use of.

NPRO has a busy meeting agenda. Good and comfortable facilities were a prerequisite, and these are also located well away from general working areas.

The premises are transparent with very few solid walls and a small number of opaque glass partitions, and from the central atria of the industrial hall there are views through the whole building. NPRO wished to maintain and develop these special qualities.
