Einar Gerhardsens Plass is proposed as the heart of the new Government Quarter

The ground floor of the Government Quarter meets the city and its people with openness. Generous interior stairs and large open spaces tie the different floors together and create an area for interaction.

Plan 2 is the central plan that ties the quarter together. New and existing buildings are interlinked to strengthen collaboration, identity, and belonging across departments. As a result the quarter will appear as an open, active, and effective Government quarter both from the outside and the inside. This will be an area bustling with activity all day.

The social zones on the office floors are equipped with many great qualities such as daylight, green lungs and a great view.

The office floors will have large areas that ensure good flexibility. All work spaces will have a view and good daylight conditions. Every floor will have social zones with interactive spaces and informal furniture.
