What distinguishes you as an interior designer?

I'm curious; I ask questions and try to find a purpose in what we’re supposed to do. My strength is to identify the client’s needs and at an early stage spend a productive amount of time pointing out a conceptual direction that matches their wishes and objectives. I think it’s very important to be forceful and focused right from the very outset of a project; a strong concept from the beginning can help towards a decisive outcome in many ways.

What is the most important aspect of your work do you think?

To arrive at smart solutions and a comprehensive product that meets the client’s requirements and needs. Our task is to create surroundings that can contribute to good communication, a pleasant atmosphere and of course an environment that aids the users in the work they do. The choices we make have to facilitate this objective, that’s what’s most imperative to me. I also think it’s important to keep myself updated in fashions and styles. In the design of new concepts, we try to liberate ourselves from current trends and therefore challenge the various conventions within our field. We encourage the clients to be daring and to move in unexpected directions, such as choosing free seating instead of permanent or fixed seating. We always do our best to stay one step ahead in everything we do.
